The 45Super® conversions
are currently offered on the Colt 1911 style Browning Link System (Colt,
Para-Ordinance, Springfield Armory, Kimber, etc.), the Smith & Wesson
line of .45 Autos (5" and 4 1/4" models) and the Glock M-21.
The 45Super® conversion offers
the flexibility of being able to use both .45 Auto and 45Super® ammunition with no parts swapping. The 45Super® delivers more energy on target than any other
.45 ACP autopistol cartridge. It is the ultimate choice for .45 Auto
fans.
COLT 1911 STYLE AUTOS
We offer the 45uper®
conversions on the Government model (5" bbl) and Commander model
(4 1/4" bbl). However, we recommend that the full power 45Super®
ammunition only be used in a 5" Government model. The Commander
model must be limited to the 45Super®
Tactical loads due to the lighter slides employed with these pistols.
We DO NOT do conversions on Officer models or compact
models.
SC-1: The 45Super® conversion on a 1911 style auto includes:
- Lower & flare the ejection port
- Extended ejector
- Heavy duty dual recoil springs
- Installation and fitting of the recoil guide rod and buffer
system
