Currently there is only 1 Firearms Manufacture licensed to perform the "45 Super"® process and utilize the name "45 Super'® for their production pistols :

Effective May 2, 2000, Triton Cartridge Company's Trademark License Agreement with Ace Custom 45's was terminated and Triton Cartridge Company is no longer authorized to manufacture, sell or advertise ammunition or any other products under the federally registered trademark "45 Super"®.

"45 Super"® Ammunition IS AVAILABLE from Texas Ammunition Company, and dealers, distributors and retail customers may order "45 Super"® ammunition directly from Texas Ammunition , or online at their website:

or online from Ace Custom 45s on our "ammo order hotline".

Effective immediately, Ace Custom 45s Inc. will no longer offer complete '"45Super"® pistols based on the S&W 4506, 945 units. We will continue to offer "45Super"® conversions on customer supplied pistols as well as "gunsmith fit" "45Super"® conversion kits for these units.

Firearm Shipments

Effective 10-11-99 U.P.S. has announced that they will no longer ship firearms by "Ground Track" service (their most economical service) and instead will use "Next Day Air". Consequently Ace Custom 45's Inc. will no longer use U.P.S. Services for firearm shipments! Effective 10-11-99 we will use only "FedEx Priority Overnight" for all return shipments of customer supplied weapons or any of our custom firearms purchased directly from us and shipped to a F.F.L. License.

In addition, customers firearms sent to us that require secondary shipments to other vendors for completion I.E.: Mag-Na-Port, Refinishing Etc., will incur multiple "Priority Overnight" shipping cost, which will be added to the invoice.

We regret the significant increase in shipping cost, but it is something, unfortunately, we have no control over.

Ace Custom 45's Inc. pledges to do everything in our power to assist in maintaining the lowest possible cost to our customers.

All of our non-firearm shipments, accessories, conversion kits, etc. will continue to be shipped by the most economical method; regular mail, UPS "Ground Track" etc.
